Goblin Feast: At Worlds End -- 2025

Part of Wasteland Festival at Tent Rotterdam and Buitenplaats Brienenoord

Landfills have buried our houses, the oceans are opaque with sewage, and the air has grown thick enough to bite…

On a small wasteland island previously known as Brienoord, there is word the goblins and their pet rats and cockroaches are planning a celebratory dinner. The end of the human world is certain and new way of living must ensue. Will you join the goblins in their ritual of decay, resilience, and transformation?

The end is here, and only us goblins remain, alongside a favoured rat or two. Resourceful, thriving in filth; we live off the scraps of humans’ collapsed egos, turning waste into nourishment, performance, and storytelling.

Pickle workshop at Tent Rotterdam.

A delightfully odd workshop where we learned how to create your own sour, spicy, and gassy fermented goods from chef and pickle master: Paul Smullenberg (Aka Pickle Paul). This hands-on session was part of the build-up to:

“𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐬 & 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬: 𝐀𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝’𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐝” on Brienenoordeiland the 20th of September
